Arvalee Say Thank You for Harvest and Celebrate Communication

Arvalee Pupils came together in Assembly to celebrate communication across the School. Mr Gray praised the pupils for showing so many skills across the school to communicate with others. Pupils used signs, pictures, voices, writing and technology to let others know what they want and how they feel.

Some examples of the communication shown in assembly were a pupil who used an talking app on the iPad to say what was on his mind and also give the answer to mathematic sums in class, pupils who used pictures to ask for what they wanted in class and at break times, a pupil who was signing in his lessons in class and taught othe Signs of the Week in assembly, two pupils who spoke in the video for the Strule Campus and pupils that wrote to Mr Gray to ask for things they wanted in the school. Two pupils also read their prayers to say thank you for the harvest and all the things God has given us. Mr Gray was also joined by a pupil who played the guitar with him as the assembly sang a Thank You hymn. Well done to all who got Certificates for great Communication in Arvalee.

Assembly finished with Mr Gray emphasising the need to stay safe over the holiday and stay away from fireworks.
