Class 19's ideas on Climate Change win top prize in Council competition
Arvalee School are very proud of the efforts made by all the pupils and the understanding our pupils have developed in Climate Change and its impact on the world. We won a competition to re-name the Council's Climate Change Strategy with the name " Restore, Revive, Thrive - Our Environment".
Jonathan Gray (Principal) stated 'Class 19 have done a fantastic job and through reading and discussing the draft document have shown an understanding of the importance of climate change. We are so proud of the effort made by all the pupils'
Marie Taggart (Teacher) stated 'The students in Class 19 had a lively debate about the importance of working towards reducing the effects climate change and the steps that we can take both at home and in school to play our part. I am so proud of their efforts.'
